Kolda Home – Present Day

Although presently hidden behind tall hedges, this 1926 Spanish Colonial Revival style home was originally constructed around an open central courtyard, enclosed by decorative low-stucco wall and wooden gate; an open loggia connected the home’s east and west wings.  The current owners enclosed this loggia with floor-to-ceiling windows to create the atrium seen today. Ornamented quatrefoil windows flanking the north-facing chimney are affectionately referred to by the present owners as “the eyes of the house.”
